I was able to sight it up well enough to be quite consistent. Only downsides are that it doesn't attach super well, like it won't slide off or anything but if you bump it, or drop the gun it will spin and possibly slide a little. The adjustments to sight it in aren't the best either, they work but can be hard to sight in. Since it's just 2 screws that press up against the laser pointer you can't adjust it by loosening the screws as they aren't attached to the laser pointer itself, so once the laser is at default position the screw just threads out and the laser makes movement.
Other than that, this does help a lot in quick target acquisition, and makes hip fire so much easier
