Inspired by the infamous Black Widow, the most toxic arachnid in North America.  BUG-A-SALT WIDOW MAKER 3.5 is ideal for targeting poisonous spiders in your woodshed, garage, attic, or basement.  Say no to toxic pesticides as you combat these dangerous critters biting over 2,500 Americans per year.  Fun fact, Black Widow venom is over 15 times stronger than a rattlesnake.  Other “Widow” cousins include the Brown and Red Widows whose bites may induce cramping, nausea, and sweating.  Also, recommended against poisonous Brown Recluse and Yellow Sac spiders who love nesting in homes, potentially lurking in your sheets, clothing, or shoes.  Brown Recluse and Yellow Sac spider bites are typically not as serious as the Widow family; however, they can induce blistering, itching, and/or rashes. 

We are very proud of this new, lethal edition to our family. However, we must warn that instead of leaving flies whole for easy cleanup, it may splatter them. Lorenzo also assures the 3.5 model dramatically increases the odds for in-flight takedown.

    Turning flys into Flews

    They called it the Widow Maker. I called it the only piece of kit that made the kitchen feel like a quiet COP at the end of a long night watch.

    When I came home from ’Nam the things that followed me weren’t all in my head — they were in the way I watched light, the way I tracked movement, the way a small sound could put my shoulders on a wire. Flies, of all things, learned quick how to push those buttons. You’d be sipping coffee, reading the paper, and a fly would cut through the window like a recon bird. For a minute, you’re back on a rice paddy, tracing a shadow. That’s why when I picked up the Widow Maker 3.5, I felt something in my hands that wasn’t nostalgia so much as relief.

    It ain’t heavy. It ain’t pretending to be anything it’s not. The grip sits right under your palm the way a bolt used to, and that little red dot—bug-beam they call it—paints a fly like a target on a treeline.     Too Much Fun?

    This is my second Bug Assault gun and I'm pretty sure this one is pumping out more salt and seemingly harder... Did they improve the internals? Loving the front cocking grip, the rear grip not so much but that's a small nit pick(it's a little big). The laser is actually helpful getting me on target and is holding zero. The stock and sling are mostly gimmicks but who cares it looks kick ass! 👍🏾👍🏾 I might be having too much fun killing wasps and flies!

    Never thought such a purchase could be so fun

    I know to my family that this has to be the silliest and most fun purchases I've made recently. Literally have been using it every day, and it's been great! If I wanted to be critical, I'd say it would be amazing for:

    1) A brighter laser for daytime use (or maybe a different color, like green?)

    2) Auto shut off on the laser. I often forget it on

    3) Getting 1 more foot of distance to kill flys would be great! There's been a few times I notice I've only injured them because the spread got too wide. All things considered, I'm loving it!
