If you are still using 2.0 trust me you want to upgrade. I have not tried a wasp yet but I am pretty sure it won't have any wings left with this gun. Also there is a big diference using thier salt. If you look under a magnifier their salt is zagged. Try some.

Had to replace my old gun that lasted for many years. Very happy with the new gun. I think this one is even more powerful and the beam is a plus and fun !! Kill shots to come as I use it a lot indoors and outdoors for all critters.

My wife and I are really enjoying our Bug-A-Salt. Some of the larger critters need an extra shot (or a stomp) but it definitely puts a hurt on them. I believe that this product is helping my wife overcome her life long arachnophobia as she is quickly adapting to grabbing the Bug-A-Salt instead of freaking out on a sighting. I would rate this product higher than 4 star if it had a lighter (or adjustable) trigger pull. If it is intended to have a high weight on the trigger pull for child safety it is understandable. But it would be nice to have an option to adjust it for households without children. All in all an outstanding and well built solid product I look forward to enjoying years of use. Highly recommended.

We love the bug assault. It’s not our first; our first was a gift from our son. We needed one for our second residence. I’m not impressed with the beam and wouldn’t waste money paying extra for it. Fun gadget!!!
